We are recruiting for an Audit and Accounts Senior as part of our current expansion. Hours are Monday to Friday 09:00-17:30pm. We are looking for a candidate to look after the smaller audits that they require assistance with.
Ideal Candidate
- Be either qualified, or qualified by experience.
- Have practice sector experience at a senior level.
- Have experience dealing with audit, accounting and tax requirements for SME clients.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.
- Undertaking/overseeing a number of audits throughout the year (planning through to completion).
- Preparation of self‑assessment tax returns (desirable not essential).
- Dealing with day‑to‑day queries from clients in an efficient and timely manner.
For the right candidate there’s a real opportunity to progress through the firm in the medium term. Audit split likely to be circa 50% or less.
