We are seeking an experienced and motivated Conveyancing Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) to join our growing Residential Property team. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion, providing exceptional client service while maintaining high professional standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive solicitor who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to play a key role in the continued growth and success of the firm.

The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion, providing exceptional client service while maintaining high professional standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions independently from inception to completion.
  • Handle a range of matters including:
    • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
    • Remortgages
    • Transfers of equity
    • New build purchases
    • Shared ownership transactions
    • Right to Buy matters
    • Lease extensions and variations
  • Conduct title investigations and review property searches.
  • Draft, review and negotiate contracts and related legal documentation.
  • Liaise effectively with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, brokers and other solicitors.
  • Provide clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including AML and risk management procedures.
  • Maintain accurate case records and meet all file management standards.
  • Achieve billing and performance targets as agreed with management.
  • Support and mentor junior fee earners, trainees and support staff where appropriate.
  • Contribute to business development activities and help maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales.
  • Minimum 5 years' PQE in residential conveyancing (ideally).

Required Skills:

  • Proven ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
  • Strong technical knowledge of residential property law and conveyancing procedures.
