Store Person Driver

We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity to join the Fox Managed Services in our Fox Guernsey team as a Store Person/Driver. This role is perfect for someone who is physically fit, motivated, and passionate about delivering high quality customer service to our clients.

Purpose of Role

The purpose of the Store Person / Driver role is to support the efficient movement, preparation, and delivery of goods in alignment with the Fox Group's purpose, values, and operational standards. This role ensures that customer orders are picked, handled, and delivered accurately, safely, and on time, while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and customer care.

Store Person / Driver's Responsibilities

• Pick orders accurately and efficiently and stage orders in accordance with the delivery schedules
• Report any stock discrepancies, damages and/or date issues to management
• Load orders onto delivery vehicles
• Deliver goods to customers in compliance with customer delivery instructions and adhere to customer security and/or health and safety requirements
• Notify management if delivery requirements cannot be met and be able to negotiate a workable solution for all parties
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensure the provided equipment and vehicles are kept clean and maintained and that all faults, incidents and accidents are reported immediately to management
• Prepare for and participate in stock takes
• Perform various other duties as required

Store Person / Driver's Requirements:

• Good level of written and spoken English
• Excellent customer service attitude and a professional and courteous manner
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment and resilience under pressure
• Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks
• Clean driving licence
• Physically fit

Reporting

This role reports to the Warehouse Manager

Hours of Work

37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday. Shift patterns may vary depending on business needs, with occasional flexibility required during busy periods.
