Position Level 2 & Level 3 Teaching Assistants for students aged 11-19 with severe and complex learning disabilities.

Term and Salary: Fixed‑term, 1 year (1 September 2026 - 31 August 2027). Grade 2: £19,388 (pro rata) + SEN allowance, depending on qualifications and experience. Grade 3: £22,361 (pro rata) + SEN allowance, depending on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective class‑based support for students aged 11‑19 with severe and complex learning disabilities.
  • At Grade 3, take on a broader range of responsibilities, including contributing to planning, assessment and providing short periods of class cover within agreed parameters.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience of working with young people or young adults with severe learning disabilities in an education or care setting.
  • Commitment to supporting personal care.
