To look after an 8-year-old boy (who has been diagnosed with ADHD and Autism) and his older 11-year-old sister.
Start date: Mid/End August 2026
Location: Wandsworth, London SW18
Working days and hours: 37.5 hours per week. Can offer up to 40 hours for the right person.
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: 11.30am to 6pm
- Tuesday: 7.30am to 7pm
Hours during school holidays to be discussed.
Hourly rate: £17 to £19 net/hour. £42 to £48k gross per year.
A typical day would involve the candidate going to lunch with him at the school, then coming home and walking the spaniel dog (it is not mandatory but it is a great plus) and picking up the children from school. On the long day, there would be a little more housework tasks (cooking, laundry, dishwasher, etc).
The family is looking for someone who will be very patient, who understands the boy's routine, who can set boundaries and who can stay calm at all times. Experience with SEN is not mandatory, but a good attitude towards the SEN challenges is.
Language requirements: fluent English.
