Qualifications
- Possession of LGV C+E Licence
- Current DCPC
- Newly qualified drivers considered
- Knowledge of the Road Transport Directive and Current Drivers Hours (desirable but full training can be provided)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively and accurately in a fast‑paced environment
- Effectively prioritise workload in order to meet set deadlines
Responsibilities
In your role as a LGV Driver, you will operate refrigerated articulated vehicles, delivering and collecting chilled stock from local and regional distribution centres as well as farms and packhouses across the UK.
Shifts: Various shifts and start times across the week. 4 ON 4 OFF – 12:00pm or 23:59pm start. Friday–Tuesday – 12:00pm start. Sunday–Wednesday – 23:59pm start. 5 ON 3 OFF – 23:59pm start.
Compensation & Benefits
- Brand new pay rates from 1st February 2026 – basic rates starting from £16.50 per hour.
- Basic rates of pay – £16.91 per hour – £21.98 per hour (depending on shift and start time).
- Overtime rates of pay – £19.45 per hour – £21.98 per hour (depending on shift and start time).
- Permanent contract – stability you can count on.
- Guaranteed hours – no last‑minute cancellations.
- Potential to earn a further £1,200 annual safe driver bonus scheme (paid each quarter) based on safe and efficient driving.
