Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for Nightshift Warehouse Operatives to join our Newton Abbott team, supporting key retail warehouse operations in a fast‑paced, modern environment.

This is a hands‑on role where you will play an important part in keeping stock moving accurately, safely and efficiently while being part of a reliable and supportive team.

  • Friday to Tuesday Nights between

07:00 .

The role is based in a chilled warehouse environment, so you will need to be comfortable working in temperatures of around 3 degrees.

  • Between £12.71 – £19.86 per hour depending on shift

What you’ll be doing

  • Ensure you load/unload product strictly in line with the Company's policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the correct documentation is completed for all inbound and dispatch loads.
  • Report any trailer or MHE faults in line with Company procedures and ensure VOR vehicles are placed in the designated areas.
  • Remain vigilant in ensuring goods are picked and assembled accurately as per instructions.
  • Ensure dispatched loads are properly secured prior to leaving the loading bay.
  • Reach and maintain the standards required to meet the Company's productivity targets.
  • Ensure all practices and procedures are safely carried out in line with the Company’s Health & Safety policy, SSOWs and HACCP regulations, where appropriate, and challenge colleagues who fail to adhere to any such rules or regulations.
  • Ensure customer returns are received, recorded and notified to the appropriate Stock Controller.

Qualifications

  • Recent warehouse experience in a fast‑paced environment is an advantage.
  • Confident working to clear targets and KPI’s and delivering strong performance.
  • Comfortable working in a chilled warehouse environment.
  • Strong verbal communication and numerical accuracy.
  • Reliable, hardworking and committed to doing the job well.
