LGV/HGV C+E Class 1 Drivers

We are Fowler Welch (Part of the Culina Group) – a multi‑award winning supply chain specialist working with retailers, wholesalers and manufacturers across the UK. We are now recruiting for LGV/HGV C+E Class 1 Drivers on a full‑time, permanent basis. Your role will include operating refrigerated articulated and rigid vehicles, delivering and collecting chilled, frozen and ambient stock from local and regional distribution centres and local convenience stores for a major retailer.

Responsibilities

• Operate refrigerated articulated and rigid vehicles.
• Deliver and collect chilled, frozen and ambient stock from local and regional distribution centres and local convenience stores for a major retailer.
• Organise shift patterns based in Newton Abbot.

Qualifications

• Possession of LGV C+E Licence.
• Current DCPC.
• Newly qualified drivers considered.
• Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers\’ hours desirable (full training can be provided).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively and accurately in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effectively prioritise workload to meet set deadlines.
