We are Fowler Welch (Part of the Culina Group), a multi award winning supply chain specialist working with retailers, wholesalers and manufacturers across the UK. We are now recruiting for LGV/HGV C+E Class 1 Drivers on a full time, permanent basis for various shift patterns in Newton Abbot.
Your role will include operating refrigerated articulated and rigid vehicles, delivering and collecting chilled, frozen and ambient stock from Local and Regional Distribution Centres as well as local convenience stores for a major retailer.
Salary/Basic Rates:
- Guaranteed annual salaries between £39,598 - £36,124 (Shift dependant)
- Guaranteed 50 hours per week
- Overtime paid at an enhanced rate
Shifts:
- Start times between 05:00 to 07:00 Thursday - Monday
- Friday - Tuesday
- Saturday - Wednesday
- Tuesday - Saturday

Qualifications:
- Possession of LGV C+E Licence
- Current DCPC
- Newly qualified drivers considered
- Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and Current Drivers Hours desirable but full training can be provided
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Ability to Work Effectively and Accurately in a Fast Paced Environment
- Effectively Prioritise Workload in Order to Meet Set Deadlines
