Overview
Your role will include operating refrigerated vehicles, delivering and collecting chilled stock from Local and Regional Distribution Centres as well as Farms and Packhouses across the UK.
Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated vehicles and deliver and collect chilled stock from Local and Regional Distribution Centres, as well as Farms and Packhouses across the UK.
- Possess LGV C+E Licence and current DCPC.
- Adhere to knowledge of the Road Transport Directive and Drivers Hours; training is provided where required.
- Communicate effectively and work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Prioritise workload to meet set deadlines.

Typical shift patterns include: 2100 β Thursday / Friday / Saturday; 0200 β Thursday / Friday / Saturday; 0300 β Thursday / Friday / Saturday; 0600 β Monday / Thursday / Friday / Saturday; 1500 β Monday / Tuesday / Saturday / Sunday; 1630 β Thursday / Friday / Saturday.
Salary and Rates
Days β Starting between 07:00am-18:00pm:
- Basic β Monday-Friday β Β£15.18 per hour.
- Saturday & Overtime (Mon-Fri on completion of 50 hours) β Β£18.22 per hour.
- Sundays and Bank Holiday β Β£23.41 per hour.
Nights β Starting between 18:00pm-01:00am:
- Basic β Monday-Friday β Β£16.53 per hour.
- Saturday & Overtime (Mon-Fri on completion of 50 hours) β Β£19.84 per hour.
- Sundays and Bank Holiday β Β£25.41 per hour.
Disturbance allowance β Β£42.20 (Where applicable).
