Company Description Fowler Welch (Part of the Culina Group) operates in the fresh produce sector providing time critical logistics solutions for major retailers, growers and manufacturers across the UK. We have an exciting opportunity for a POD Administrator to join our friendly team in Broxburn on a full time permanent basis.

Salary: £25,815 per annum

Working hours: 4 on 4 off, 7am-7pm.

The purpose of a POD Administrator is to process Proof of delivery documents (PODs) received from Fowler Welch depots and Sub contractors. Scanning processed paperwork, to enable customers to view their PODs.

Key Duties of a POD Administrator:

  • First point of contact for visitors and incoming calls.
  • Processing PODs, checking all incidents have been reported and that the paperwork is stamped / signed correctly to a high level of accuracy.
  • Ensuring PODs are scanned correctly, making them available to customers.
  • Dealing with customer POD queries in accordance with set guidelines.
  • Liaising with customers, supermarkets and sub-contractors via telephone and email regarding POD queries.
  • Sorting and sending internal and external post.
  • Filing of vehicle check sheets.
  • Accurate scanning of POD paperwork, and correction of scan errors, to ensure availability for customers.
  • Scanning of POD requests to a high level of accuracy.
  • Processing stationary orders and printing supplies.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Planning and organisational skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Proficient in Computer Literacy including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Previous experience of a fast paced office environment desirable.
  • Previous experience of working within logistics and / or FMCG sector advantageous.
