An exciting opportunity to lead one of Cornwall’s most distinctive coastal hotels. We are now looking for an exceptional General Manager to lead Fowey Hall forward. This is a high profile leadership role where you will shape the direction, culture and performance of the hotel. You will lead from the front, creating an environment where teams feel energised and supported, service feels natural and confident, and every guest experience reflects the warmth and personality of the brand. You will take full ownership of the operation, driving commercial performance while maintaining a strong focus on people, culture and the unique family focused guest experience that sets Fowey Hall apart. This role is ideal for an experienced General Manager seeking a standout coastal opportunity, or a high calibre Deputy General Manager ready to step into their first GM role within a supportive and ambitious group.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the operation – oversee the day to day running of the hotel, ensuring all departments work in harmony across front of house, housekeeping, food and beverage, spa, and childcare.
- Champion the guest experience – ensure every part of the guest journey reflects the quality, warmth and character of Fowey Hall, while protecting the standards of the hotel’s recent transformation.
- Build a strong culture – lead, inspire and develop a capable, motivated team.
- Create a culture where people feel supported, valued and empowered to deliver memorable service.
- Be the face of the hotel – maintain a visible presence across the business, building confidence with guests, colleagues and stakeholders alike.
- Drive commercial performance – take ownership of revenue, profitability and cost control across the hotel, identifying opportunities to grow performance while never losing sight of the guest experience.
- Work as part of the wider brand – collaborate with central teams and fellow General Managers across Luxury Family Hotels, contributing to group initiatives and sharing best practice across the collection.
- Shape the food and beverage offer – partner closely with the Head Chef to ensure the dining experience is commercially strong, distinctive and rooted in the best local produce.
