About Us: We are a growing private dental practice, fully computerised, and we pride ourselves on maintaining a supportive and friendly team environment. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Qualified Dental Nurse or an individual with experience awaiting qualification.
Role Overview: As a Qualified Dental Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting our dental team. Your responsibilities will include assisting with a range of dental procedures, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and providing excellent patient care. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who is keen to advance their career with access to additional training and development. Please note this position cannot consider overseas applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists during various procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare and maintain the clinical environment, including sterilization of instruments and equipment.
- Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation.
- Take and develop digital x-rays as required.
- Support the practice with administrative duties when necessary.
- Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations and protocols.
What We’re Looking For:
- Dental Nurse: GDC registered with relevant dental nursing qualifications.
- Experience: Proven experience in a dental practice, with a solid understanding of dental procedures and protocols.
- Professional Development: Eagerness to undertake further training in areas such as x-rays, sedation, dental implants, and orthodontics.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on patient care.
- Compliance: Up-to-date CPD training, DBS check, and Indemnity (all covered by the practice).
