As AI becomes part of the production pipeline, we place leaders and specialists who can deliver in established production environments and apply AI sensibly.
The Trainee Recruitment Consultant role involves:
- Learning how to develop excellent market mapping skills to seek out the right people for each role.
- Approaching candidates confidently by phone, LinkedIn, and email.
- Attracting candidates by understanding what matters to them.
- Running first-stage conversations and assessing fit clearly.
- Supporting the full process from shortlist through interview to offer.
- Building influencing and negotiation skills, including handling objections and guiding decisions.
- Keeping candidates and clients updated with clear communication and strong follow-through.
- Using tools to speed up research and admin while learning the judgement that makes recruitment work.
As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you will learn:
- How to run an end-to-end search from first approach through to offer.
- How to influence and negotiate professionally without burning relationships.
- How to spot what matters in a brief and what is noise.
- How AI is showing up in creative production teams, and where it adds value in practice.
We’re looking for candidates with evidence of at least one of the following:
- Lettings or estate agency experience.
- Appointment setting.
- Lead generation.
- Telesales, telemarketing, SDR or BDR experience.
- B2B sales or phone-based customer acquisition.
- Fundraising, membership sales, or anything outbound where you had to persuade and follow up.
- Hospitality or service roles demonstrating pace, resilience, and strong communication.
You’ll also need:
- Comfort making outbound calls and starting conversations.
- Confidence handling objections and staying professional.
- Good organisational skills and well-planned.
- Clear written communication for short outreach messages and candidate updates.
- Basic tech competence with LinkedIn, email, calendars, spreadsheets, and learning a CRM.
- Discretion and common sense with confidential information.
