We are working with an experience design studio that builds real-time VR and AR projects for clients in automotive, construction, infrastructure, hospitality and retail. The work spans VR training simulations, immersive product experiences and mobile applications, with AI now being integrated across projects to drive interaction and deliver more personalised experiences.

The team have been steadily expanding and have a busy pipeline of projects for 2026 and beyond. Owing to this, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Unity Developer to join their team.

What you’ll do as Senior Unity Developer:

  • Build Unity applications across VR, AR, mobile, smart devices and touchscreen activations
  • Lead and mentor a small junior development team
  • Play a key role in contributing to architecture and tooling decisions
  • Develop training simulations, scenario-based learning and real-time visualisation tools
  • Optimise performance for standalone mixed reality devices, tablets and touchscreens
  • Contribute to AI feature builds: avatars, dialogue systems, real-time interactions as the studio expands this work
  • Work closely with a talented team of Producers, 3D Artists and Instructional Designers

What Skills Are Required?

  • 6+ Years of Unity and C# Development experience
  • Proven track record of delivering immersive projects across AR, VR and MR
  • Proficient at explaining technical concepts/ideas to non-technical clients and members of the team
  • Good communication skills and be well versed with working with clients throughout the development and project lifecycle

Bonus Points:

  • Unreal Engine development experience, ideally with C++
  • Understanding of how to integrate LLM powered chatbots into immersive training or simulation projects
  • Networking or data-driven application experience
