Senior AV Technician (onsite) Central London. Fixed-term contract to Dec '27 (Likely to extend - not guaranteed) £55,000-£60,000 DOE. As Senior AV Technician at a central London client venue, you'll run live, hybrid and virtual events across audio, video, lighting and live streaming.

Its work runs from interactive museum exhibits to stadium installations, expo pavilions and large-scale projection mapping onto landmark buildings, across experiential, virtual production, broadcast, and digital out-of-home. The UK team works closely with colleagues UK and Europe, sharing engineering, project delivery and service support. This Senior AV Technician role sits in the UK team, based full-time at a client venue in central London. The business runs on passion, integrity, innovation and a one-team approach.

The role

The Senior AV Technician owns the technical delivery of conferences, presentations and hybrid events, covering every discipline in the auditorium and wider venue. You'll work directly with event organisers and report to the Head of Operations.

What you'll do

Mix live sound on a Yamaha QL5, with Shure ULXD radio mics and Dante audio networking, and mic up high-profile speakers Operate a Ross Touch Drive vision mixer and direct Sony PTZ cameras Manage playback through Tessera and Tria, and presentations in PowerPoint Programme and operate an Avolites Titan lighting console Run Zoom webinars, Microsoft Teams and other streaming platforms for hybrid and remote events Agree AV requirements with organisers ahead of each event and keep the events calendar current Prepare kit, documentation and spaces before each event, and fix technical and IT faults as they happen Work to health and safety procedures and risk assessments, and contribute to post-event reviews What you'll bring Proven experience as a Senior AV Technician or AV Technician in live event production, ideally including large corporate events, live productions or broadcast Strong all-round skills across audio, video, lighting and streaming, with live audio mixing a particular strength Experience with Yamaha, Shure, Ross, Avolites and Sony kit strongly preferred Working knowledge of networking and IT in a live production environment, plus basic Crestron Calm, structured problem-solving across several concurrent events Clear communication with non-technical organisers and speakers Relevant technical qualification, or equivalent industry experience Dante, Q-Sys or Crestron certification counts in your favour Click apply to learn more and share a copy of your current CV and project experience.
