I\'m recruiting on behalf of an innovative design studio specialising in cutting-edge VR experiences. They create experimental immersive projects and push the boundaries of what\'s possible in virtual reality.
The Opportunity
My client is seeking a Unity Technical Artist / 3D Generalist for contract work on VR projects for Quest devices. This is sprint-based work with flexible scope depending on R&D outcomes - starting with 2-3 days initially with potential for extension based on project needs.
What You\'ll Do
* Create and animate 3D characters for VR experiences
* Develop shaders, materials, and visual effects optimized for Quest
* Build custom Unity tools and workflows
* Collaborate closely with the development team
* Optimize content for real-time VR performance
* Work across the full 3D pipeline from modeling to implementation
Essential Requirements
* Expert-level 3D character animation skills
* Strong Unity experience in VR/real-time environments
* Experience developing for Meta Quest platforms
* 3D generalist skills (modeling, texturing, rigging, animation)
* Proven ability to work collaboratively with developers
* VR development experience required
Technical Skills
