About the Company
We’re working with a design and technology studio that specialises in large-scale digital delivery across infrastructure, planning, and real-time platforms. Their projects combine spatial data, interactive visualisation, and platform engineering to help clients plan, explore, and manage complex environments in more intuitive and connected ways. They’re leading a multi-year programme to build a centralised digital twin platform for a major Middle Eastern destination, bringing together infrastructure data, spatial planning, and interactive 3D environments.
The Opportunity
The programme consists of multiple workstreams, each contributing to a real-time, web-based platform that gives the client control over spatial planning data, development models, and engagement tools. Key workstreams include:
- BIM and CAD data integration to consolidate infrastructure models
- Real-time 3D environment development using Unreal Engine
- A visual interface for non-technical users to explore planning data and interact with site features
- Asset management tools and future scenario mapping capability
Each workstream has its dedicated project lead. The Programme Director will manage the structure, direction, and day-to-day coordination of the programme as a whole—holding the strategic line while keeping delivery on track.
What You’ll Be Doing
Programme Oversight
- Operate as the lead Programme Director across the entire digital twin initiative.
- Align project teams working on BIM, real-time visualisation, and user-facing features.
- Drive programme-wide planning, coordination, and communication between streams.
Governance & Workflow
- Set up and run programme governance across schedules, risk tracking, and interdependencies.
- Maintain visibility across teams—flagging blockers, surfacing decisions, and pushing for resolution when needed.
- Map out integration points and keep workstreams aligned with the platform's end-state requirements.
Technical Coordination
- Collaborate with technical leads across BIM, Unreal Engine, and data teams to keep workflows clean and scalable.
- Translate platform goals into actionable plans that work across disciplines.
- Make sure data structures, tooling, and output formats align across the programme.
Stakeholder Management
- Lead programme-level discussions with client teams, partners, and senior leadership.
- Keep stakeholders focused on priorities while managing expectations and surfacing challenges early.
- Provide structured reporting and guidance on progress, risk, and outcomes.
Commercial Responsibility
- Track overall programme budget and financial reporting.
- Work with internal leads and external delivery partners to maintain cost visibility.
- Adjust plans and resourcing in response to shifting priorities or constraints.
What They’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Programme Director leading large-scale, technically complex digital platforms.
- Confident in managing multiple project leads and delivery teams across related streams.
- Comfortable working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Structured in approach, with a clear view of planning, coordination, and risk tracking.
- Knowledge of BIM, CAD, and spatial data workflows would be highly advantageous.
Why This Role?
- Shape a landmark digital twin platform – A chance to lead a major real-time spatial initiative with a wide impact.
- Work at the intersection of infrastructure and digital delivery – Combine data, visualisation, and systems into one integrated programme.
- Top-level role – As Programme Director, you’ll guide structure, pace, and outcomes across multiple moving parts.
- Grown-up working environment – You’ll have control without being micromanaged and clear delivery goals without chaos.
- Solid team and culture – Generous annual leave, learning budget, gym membership, and a senior team who understand what good delivery needs to look like.
If you’re a Programme Director with experience in BIM, digital infrastructure, or real-time platforms and are confident managing multi-track technical delivery, this is your opportunity to lead something with long-term value.
