About the Role
This AV Technician/Engineer position suits professionals who excel at technical support and hands-on AV installations. Collaborating directly with clients and internal teams, the AV Technician/Engineer will ensure AV systems consistently perform optimally from installation through ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide AV Technician/Engineer technical support, installation, and maintenance for AV hardware, including projectors, LED walls, sound and control systems.
- Visit client sites to manage AV Technician/Engineer installations, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Collaborate closely with clients, designers, and technical specialists to ensure AV Technician/Engineer solutions meet and exceed expectations.
- Perform diagnostic testing and resolve both hardware and software challenges swiftly as an AV Technician/Engineer.
- As a client-facing AV technician/engineer, assist with technical setup and provide support during live events and interactive activations.
What’s Required
- Proven expertise as an AV Technician/Engineer supporting and installing AV systems, ideally within production, events, or creative agencies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of AV Technician/Engineer equipment, control systems (Crestron, AMX, Extron), and networking fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience installing and maintaining LED walls, projectors, interactive displays, and audio systems.
- Experience working with DMA, Art-Net, and media servers is highly advantageous.
- Excellent AV Technician/Engineer problem-solving abilities combined with a proactive approach to technical challenges.
- Strong client-facing skills, including clear communication and professionalism.
