- Design and build new applications using Python, ReactJS, SQL Server/PostgreSQL, and web services
- Contribute to the firm’s proprietary codebase (built on a secure in-house language used across the financial industry)
- Partner closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver pragmatic, high-impact solutions
About You:
- 3+ years of professional software development experience, ideally in financial services (e.g. insurance, trading, or banking)
- Strong Python development skills and a willingness to work across a varied tech stack
- Comfortable working with SQL databases, distributed systems, and modern web frameworks
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and best engineering practices
Nice to Have:
- Web development experience (Flask, React, JavaScript)
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS) and Linux environments
- Knowledge of proprietary financial engineering platforms (e.g. SecDB, Athena, or Quartz)
Why Join?
