A leading global trading organization is seeking a Lead Market Data Developer to join its high-performing technology team. This role is critical to the development and enhancement of market data infrastructure, ensuring reliable, scalable, and high-quality data delivery that supports key trading and business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development projects related to market data, from gathering requirements and designing solutions to building and delivering robust services.
• Develop and enhance data parsers and distribution mechanisms, adhering to standardized data models.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for market data initiatives and strategic projects.
• Manage and mentor a team of market data professionals, promoting technical rigor and best practices.
• Collaborate with external vendors (such as financial exchanges and RPAs) and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient data onboarding and support.
• Provide second-line support for daily parsing, internal calculations, and data delivery processes
• Maintain and promote high coding standards for ETL development, focusing on clarity, performance, and maintainability.

Candidate Profile

• Deep expertise in market data systems, including ingestion, processing, and delivery pipelines.
• Experience in delivering automated data services that meet complex business requirements.
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT workflows, data warehousing methodologies, and handling of EOD and tick data.
• Proficiency in schema design and modern data modeling techniques.
• Commitment to data system performance, availability, scalability, and security.
• Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and deployment automation; knowledge of Databricks is advantageous.
• Comfortable working in agile development environments and using contemporary data tooling.
