Job Description
Are you a top-tier developer looking to join a highly collaborative, efficient, and fast-paced team where the code you write is the business? Our client, a top tier HFT firm, is looking for C++ engineers to join their core development team. You would be working on an elite team designing the system behind the firm’s global trading. You would have the opportunity to collaborate with others at the top of their field and to work with advanced CPU architecture, networking protocols and OS internals.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement and optimise real-time trading systems to ensure optimal latency and throughput for critical trading operations.
- Work alongside top traders and quants to understand the requirements for new strategies and tools, translating complex ideas into streamlined, robust code.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, contributing ideas to improve team workflows and enhance system resilience.
Qualifications
- Expert C++ knowledge.
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems.
- Experience in the trading industry is preferred but not required.
