PROCUREMENT MANAGER — CONTRACTS the framework, the standards, the contracts and the relationships. We're inheriting a supplier landscape that's grown organically. Some contracts are well-structured; others aren't. Some relationships are strong; others need resetting. This role exists to bring rigour to all of it and then run it. The decisions made here show up in the quality of what gets delivered to residents every day; that's the standard we're working to.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

  • Reviewing and reshaping the inherited contract and supplier landscape; mapping, rationalising and ensuring every material contract is properly documented and managed
  • Building the procure-to-pay framework from the ground up; how we select, appoint, onboard, manage and exit suppliers
  • Supplier performance management; setting expectations, reviewing delivery and making the hard calls when standards aren't met
  • Tender and evaluation frameworks for material contracts; commercially defensible, well-evidenced and consistently applied
  • Spend analytics and supply chain oversight; identifying consolidation opportunities and cost efficiencies across the supplier base

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

The chance to build something properly. You'll have the authority and the leadership support to reshape a supply chain that will underpin the performance of a growing residential portfolio. The scope is broad, the commercial stakes are real and the opportunity to make a lasting mark on how this business operates is genuine. This is the kind of role where what you build in year one still matters in year five.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • A solid procurement and contracts background, ideally in residential property, facilities management or a multi-site operational environment
  • Experience building or significantly reshaping a supplier framework; you've done this before and you know what good looks like
  • A track record of managing supplier performance with commercial rigour; setting expectations, reviewing delivery and making the hard calls
  • Comfortable building process whilst managing live supplier relationships simultaneously
  • Practical and commercial; you make decisions grounded in operational reality not just contractual theory

Our values are simple: stay grounded, use your judgement, own it and play the long game. All within a culture of high challenge and high support. If this sounds like the role you've been looking for, we'd like to hear from you.
