With projects up to 400kV, this is a chance to work on high-profile National Grid schemes in a dynamic, supportive, and safety-first environment.
The Role
You’ll lead and manage commissioning activities across multiple projects under long-term frameworks, planning and coordinating works to ensure safe, efficient energisation of HV assets. Working closely with project teams, SAPs, protection engineers, and clients, you’ll provide technical leadership, produce commissioning plans, test and commission plant, resolve design issues, and mentor your team to grow their skills.
What You’ll Bring as the Commissioning Manager:
- Hands-on experience in testing and commissioning on HV distribution or transmission networks
- Knowledge of engineering policies, procedures, and legislation in the utilities sector
- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to improve processes and outputs
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Qualified to HNC/Degree level in Electrical Engineering
- Full UK driving licence
