We’re supporting a growing sustainability consultancy looking to hire an experienced Energy Modelling Specialist with strong hands-on expertise in IES VE to support commercial refurbishment and fit-out projects.

The Role

  • Dynamic thermal modelling (DSM)
  • TM52 overheating assessments
  • TM54 operational energy modelling
  • Non-domestic EPCs & BRUKL reports
  • Part L compliance modelling
  • BREEAM energy credits support (ENE 01, ENE 04, HEA 01)
  • Client-facing technical reporting and design team coordination

Requirements

  • Strong experience using IES VE (ApacheSim essential)
  • Proven delivery of TM52, TM54 & EPC modelling
  • Good understanding of Part L, CIBSE AM11 & BREEAM
  • Ability to manage projects independently and communicate technical outputs clearly

Desirable

  • NABERS UK experience
  • CAT A / CAT B fit-out project experience
  • Part O assessments
  • Suitable for strong mid-level candidates (2–5+ years) or senior professionals able to lead modelling workstreams.
