  • We're recruiting an experienced

EHS Lead to join a leading general contractor delivering major critical infrastructure projects across UK and Europe .

This is an excellent opportunity for a safety professional who is passionate about driving a positive health, safety and environmental culture while ensuring compliance with client, company and legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all site Health, Safety & Environmental activities.
  • Implement and maintain the site's HSE management system.
  • Conduct audits, inspections and incident investigations.
  • Review and manage RAMS, risk assessments and safe systems of work.
  • Deliver safety training, inductions and toolbox talks.
  • Monitor HSE performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Promote environmental compliance and employee wellbeing.
  • Liaise with clients, regulators and project teams to ensure best practice.

Requirements

  • Minimum

5 years' experience in an EHS leadership role.

  • Level 7 or Level 8 qualification (or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to influence and promote a strong safety culture across all levels.
