Fourblue is working with a leading independent connections provider (ICP) and independent distribution network operator (IDNO), specialising in the design and delivery of high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) infrastructure projects. They work across diverse sectors, including industrial, commercial, and high-rise residential developments, providing end-to-end solutions for new connections, upgrades, and diversions.
Responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager:
- Lead and manage multiple HV and LV infrastructure projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards.
- Oversee compliance with all DNO and IDNO processes, including application submissions, design approvals, and connection agreements.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, maintaining effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior project managers and site teams, promoting best practices and professional growth.
- Identify potential risks and issues proactively, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
- Ensure all projects comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, fostering a strong safety culture on-site.
Criteria of the Senior Project Manager:
- Proven experience managing HV and LV infrastructure projects within DNO and IDNO frameworks, with a strong understanding of 11kV networks.
- Deep knowledge of electrical distribution networks, including design, installation, and commissioning processes.
- Relevant electrical engineering qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND or equivalent). Project management certifications (e.g., APM PMQ, Prince2) are desirable.
