Senior Electrical Project Engineer (HV Networks / Renewable Energy)

Remote (UK-based) with project site assignments

The Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity for a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to work on cutting-edge renewable energy and power generation projects. You\’ll design, develop, and implement HV/LV systems, grid integration, and process control solutions for energy storage, waste-to-energy, and industrial applications.

A leader in renewable energy, energy storage, and process control, our team delivers engineering solutions from feasibility to full-scale operation. The Technical Services team provides expert engineering resources for both internal and external projects.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards it
• Experience in power generation, grid integration & SCADA systems
• Proficiency in MATLAB, AutoCAD, or similar tools
• Understanding of IEC, ENA, BS7671 standards & health/safety regulations
• Strong problem-solving & project management skills

Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer electrical systems for energy generation and storage
• Conduct feasibility studies, technical assessments & project oversight
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams & external stakeholders
• Optimize system performance through modelling & simulation
• Ensure compliance with industry standards & evolving regulations
• Support site visits, testing, commissioning & troubleshooting

Role Details

• Remote with regular UK site-based assignments
• Frequent UK travel, occasional international travel
• Strong organisational, technical, and interpersonal skills
