Responsibilities of the Estimator:

  • Prepare accurate tender pricing for overhead line projects, analysing supply chain quotations and benchmarking costs
  • Scope projects, identify risks, and challenge project solutions
  • Collaborate with bid managers, design teams, project managers, and commercial teams
  • Support post-submission presentations and client interactions
  • Maintain professional working relationships across all project stakeholders

Criteria for the Estimator:

  • Previous experience in infrastructure projects, ideally overhead line estimating up to 400kV but will review 132kV as a minimum
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
  • Knowledge of construction and contractual terminology
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Proactive and methodical approach to delivering high-quality estimates
