We’re looking for an Operations Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day operations of clean water and wastewater networks, driving efficiency, compliance, and exceptional service.

Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of clean water and wastewater networks, including maintenance, inspections, and monitoring
- Implement and maintain accurate records for network assets, ensuring all works comply with industry, regulatory, and legislative standards
- Oversee infrastructure maintenance, including pipelines, pumping stations, attenuation, and sewers
- Monitor water quality and implement treatment solutions in line with UK regulations
- Ensure compliance with Ofwat, the Environment Agency, and Drinking Water Inspectorate standards
- Lead contingency planning for emergencies, including supply disruptions, droughts, or contamination incidents
- Support wider teams to deliver outstanding service to developers, SLPs, and customers
Criteria:
- Minimum 5 years’ operational experience in water utilities or the wider utilities sector
- Previous experience in water construction, utility operations, or network management
- Knowledge of WIRS SLP water construction processes and non-conformance reporting
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001:2015 audits, inspections, and quality management
- Full, valid UK driving licence
