Fourblue have partnered with a Tier 1 Contractor who are seeking an experienced Overhead Lines Construction Manager to join their UK Power Networks Alliance team. You will take ownership of overhead line construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Working closely with site teams, supervisors, subcontractors, and key stakeholders, you will help drive successful project delivery while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and performance.
Responsibilities of the OHL Project Manager:
- Leading the delivery of overhead line construction projects within a DNO environment
- Managing operational teams, subcontractors, and site resources
- Carrying out site visits, audits, and safety reviews
- Ensuring works are delivered to programme and quality expectations
- Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Monitoring productivity, costs, and project performance
- Supporting planning, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Coaching and developing site teams to achieve high standards
