Fourblue are working with a well-established utilities contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Multi Utility Project Manager to take ownership of complex infrastructure schemes from start to finish. This is a key leadership role where you will be responsible for the safe, efficient and profitable delivery of utility projects, working closely with developers, internal teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure successful outcomes. You’ll be joining a business that values strong leadership, operational excellence and a proactive approach to delivery.

Responsibilities of the Project Manager:

  • Leading the end-to-end delivery of multi utility projects including gas, water and electric networks
  • Managing planning, design handovers, permits, streetworks notices, commissioning and final connections
  • Taking full responsibility for health and safety across multiple live sites, always ensuring compliance
  • Driving programme performance, quality standards and commercial success across all projects
  • Managing operational teams and subcontractors to ensure efficient delivery and high productivity
  • Carrying out audits, inspections, toolbox talks and ensuring RAMS are correctly implemented on site
  • Maintaining accurate project records, drawings, as laid information and commercial reporting
  • Working closely with clients to provide clear communication updates and a high level of service
  • Managing plant, materials and resources effectively to avoid delays and reduce waste
  • Supporting commercial teams with cost control, CVRs and profit performance

Criteria of the Project Manager:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the multi utility or utilities sector
  • Proven background in a supervisory or project management role
  • SMSTS qualification
  • NRSWA Streetworks Supervisor
  • EUSR SHEA Gas, Water, Electric SCO qualifications (including mains and connections where applicable)
  • First Aid at Work (3 day)
  • Full UK driving licence
