  • Undertake FEA (linear and non-linear where required) to validate stresses, deflections, and connections
  • Support steel-reduction and value-engineering initiatives through structural optimisation
  • Plan and support prototype testing, load testing, and field trials
  • Interpret test data and translate findings into design improvements
  • Produce structural calculation packs, technical reports, and compliance documentation
  • Support internal design reviews, peer checks, and technical sign-off processes
  • Collaborate with geotechnical specialists on foundations, anchorage, and soil interaction
  • Liaise with external consultants, testing houses, and certification bodies

  • Proficiency with structural analysis and calculation software
  • Experience using FEA tools for stress and deflection analysis
  • Ability to interpret geotechnical data and integrate into designs
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience in renewable energy, solar PV, or infrastructure sectors
  • Knowledge of structural testing, fatigue analysis, or dynamic loading
