Fourblue are supporting a growing IDNO who are now expanding their design function. This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrical design professional who wants to take the lead on technically challenging projects, support developing engineers, and play a key role in delivering safe and innovative network solutions.
You will be responsible for leading electrical network design activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with technical standards. Working closely with customers, developers, and internal teams, you will provide technical expertise across LV, HV (and ideally EHV) networks while helping shape improvements across the design function.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of Design Engineers
- Deliver and review electrical network designs and connection solutions
- Provide technical guidance across LV/HV projects
- Work with customers and stakeholders to resolve design challenges
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety requirements, and internal processes
- Support continuous improvement across systems, processes, and customer delivery
You’ll bring strong electrical design experience, with the confidence to take ownership and support others.
Requirements:
- LV and HV electricity network design experience at a minimum of 33kV
- Experience using electrical design software (WinDebut, IPSA, or similar)
- Understanding of 2D CAD drawings
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead, influence, and motivate others
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
