A growing specialist supplier to the M E sector is looking to appoint an Engineering Project Manager to join its commercial team.

The business supplies fixings, bracketry, anchors, and pipe support solutions to major new-build residential, commercial, and data centre projects across London and the South East. With ambitious growth plans, this is an excellent opportunity to join a business where you can genuinely shape and grow an engineering offering.

The role

This is a unique opportunity for someone with an MEP background who enjoys both the technical and commercial aspects of project delivery.

The pipeline already exists. Engineering enquiries are coming through the business today, and the role is focused on qualifying, scoping, pricing, and delivering these opportunities while building strong relationships with customers and fabrication partners.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as the internal MEP expert, supporting account managers on technical enquiries
  • Attend customer meetings and site visits across London and the South East
  • Scope and deliver bespoke bracketry, pipe support, and plant support solutions
  • Manage external fabrication partners and CAD resources
  • Build and maintain a network of specialist suppliers
  • Price engineering solutions and manage projects through to delivery
  • Track enquiries, conversion rates, and live projects
  • Develop relationships with M E contractors, particularly within the data centre sector

Requirements

  • Background within the MEP sector
  • Experience within technical sales, specialist fabrication, M E contracting, or M E distribution
  • Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings
  • Strong commercial awareness and customer-facing skills
  • Experience managing suppliers and project delivery
  • Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple live opportunities simultaneously

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business in a role that offers genuine autonomy, a clear route into broader commercial responsibility, and the chance to build and shape the engineering offering within the business.
