Could your next move put you at the centre of an electricity network? Fourblue are working with a leading IDNO who are looking to appoint Head of Network Operations, and this is one for someone who wants genuine ownership rather than simply another title.
You’ll take the lead on the operational performance of LV, HV and EHV networks, making sure they remain safe, reliable, resilient and compliant while helping shape how the network develops. The role combines technical leadership, network control and operational strategy, with responsibility for areas including:
- Network control, switching and fault response
- SCADA and operational systems
- Reliability, resilience and maintenance strategy
- Acting as the Designated Control Engineer
- Technical, regulatory and safety compliance
- Contractor and service-provider performance
- Budgets, resources and operational delivery
- Network data, incidents and performance improvement
- Cyber-security and the integrity of control systems
You’ll be working with a broad mix of customers, developers, contractors, ICPs, regulators and internal teams, so being technically strong is only part of the picture. You’ll also need the leadership and communication skills to bring people with you.
If you have a strong background in electricity distribution and network operations, with substantial LV/HV/EHV experience and a solid understanding of control, switching and operational safety working with networks up to 132kV, then we want to hear from you!
