This is a pivotal leadership role with responsibility for established multi-utility platforms alongside the development and expansion of an EHV ICP capability, delivering grid connections across renewables, BESS, EV infrastructure and industrial & commercial sectors.
You will take full ownership of the division’s P&L, driving growth, operational excellence and delivery performance, while building a market-leading ICP proposition focused on quality, safety, certainty and commercial transparency.
Key responsibilities include:

- Owning end-to-end delivery from early engagement through to energisation
- Building and managing high-performing teams across operations, commercial and work-winning functions
- Driving major bids, developing client relationships and securing long-term frameworks and partnerships
- Ensuring compliance with NERS accreditation, DNO/IDNO requirements and all regulatory standards
- Embedding a strong safety, quality and performance culture across the division
- Acting as the senior point of contact for key clients and stakeholders
We are looking for:

- Strong technical and commercial understanding of contestable works and utility delivery models
- Experience managing DNO/IDNO relationships and navigating approvals and energisation processes
- Demonstrated success in building teams, driving growth and operating within high-growth environments
- Degree-qualified in Electrical or Power Engineering, with chartership highly desirable
