Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with suppliers and specialist contractors to support the procurement of goods and services.
  • Prepare requests for information (RFIs), technical submittals, equipment registers and project trackers.
  • Support the construction team, including supervisors, subcontractor foremen and quality assurance personnel.
  • Coordinate with design teams, consultants and construction management.
  • Assist with the preparation of project handover documentation alongside the Quality Assurance team.
  • Monitor construction progress against project programmes and prepare weekly progress reports.
  • Attend construction, design and permit meetings.
  • Report project progress and any issues to the Project Manager.
  • Support general administration, document control and site procedures.

Requirements

  • Relevant third-level qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline is essential.
  • 0–1 years’ post-qualification experience is desirable.
  • Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates are required for successful applicants.
  • Knowledge of a contracting or construction environment would be advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Strong communication, organisation and time management skills.
  • Enthusiasm to learn and develop within a fast-paced engineering environment.
