Fourblue are working on behalf of a leading property developer who is passionate about creating high-quality, sustainable homes and vibrant communities. With a reputation for tackling some of the most complex and exciting projects in the sector, they\’re looking for a Buyer to join their team and play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standard.
Base pay range
Buyer
Maidenhead – Sites covering Reading & Slough
£53,000 + car allowance + bonus
Responsibilities
- Managing procurement schedules and ensuring deadlines are met
- Sourcing, comparing and negotiating supplier quotes to achieve value for money
- Preparing and placing orders, including drawing/schedule approvals
- Producing material budgets and cost reports for review with senior management
- Attending site and project meetings to support delivery teams
- Working with suppliers and technical colleagues to resolve issues and ensure material specifications are met
- Supporting value engineering through material reviews
Requirements
We’re looking for someone with experience in the construction supply chain, ideally within residential or mixed-use developments. You’ll be confident interpreting technical drawings, highly IT literate (Excel in particular), and able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
