An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior HR Advisor to join a growing organisation, reporting to the Head of HR and People. This role will provide expert support across employee relations, payroll, and HR operations, ensuring best practices and compliance with employment legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Generalist Duties
  • Provide guidance on disciplinary, grievance, TUPE, and restructures.
  • Attend meetings as an advisor, witness, and note-taker.
  • Coordinate colleague surveys, produce feedback reports, and run pulse surveys.
  • Maintain HR reporting, including monthly HR metrics and board reports.
  • Support community, environment, and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Assist in ad-hoc HR projects and people plans.
  • Handle HR administration throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Payroll, Rewards & Benefits
    • Liaise with the outsourced payroll provider to ensure accurate and timely processing.
    • Respond to internal and external payroll-related queries.
    • Prepare data for NMW reviews, salary benchmarking, bonuses, and gender pay reporting.
    • Organise Long Service Award gifts and celebrations.
    • Support the planning and execution of colleague events, including the annual awards ceremony.

    What We’re Looking For:

    This role requires exceptional planning and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills and ensure accuracy across all aspects of HR and payroll management. We are seeking a proactive and people-focused individual who enjoys a fast-paced, varied HR workload. A wider interest in HR innovation, learning and development, employee engagement, and digitalisation is desirable.

    Key Requirements:

    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a generalist HR role.
    • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience).
    • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
    • Experience handling employee relations cases and working with senior stakeholders.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
