You'll be the trusted financial adviser to the CEO, Board and senior stakeholders, leading strategic financial planning while developing a high-performing finance function.
The Opportunity Reporting directly to the Chief Executive and working closely with Board members and key committees, you will: Lead the financial strategy of the organisation, ensuring long-term sustainability and growth.
Drive budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
Deliver insightful management information that supports strategic decision making.
Lead cashflow management, financial modelling and scenario planning.
Oversee statutory reporting, audit and regulatory compliance.
Develop and strengthen financial governance, controls and risk management.
Manage and develop the finance team.
Partner with operational leaders to improve financial understanding and accountability across the organisation.
Support executive decision-making through robust analysis and clear commercial insight.
About You We're looking for an experienced finance professional who combines technical excellence with strong leadership capability.
You'll likely be: A fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
Experienced in a senior finance leadership position.
Comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels.
A confident communicator with experience influencing senior stakeholders and boards.
Highly analytical with exceptional financial planning and reporting skills.
Advanced in Excel, including complex modelling and data analysis.
Experienced in managing audits, compliance and financial controls.
Passionate about using finance as a driver of organisational success and positive change.
Experience within the charity, public sector or not-for-profit environment would be advantageous, but we are equally interested in candidates who can demonstrate transferable leadership and strategic finance experience from other sectors.
