An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially minded Senior Finance Manager to join a growing, technology-led manufacturing business operating in highly specialised and demanding markets.
This role is ideal for a qualified finance professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, influencing business decisions, improving processes, and supporting a business through periods of growth and change.
Working closely with the Financial Controller and wider leadership team, you will play a key role in ensuring robust financial reporting, strengthening controls, supporting commercial decision-making, and driving continuous improvement across the finance function.

Initially, the role will be wide-ranging as the business evolves, offering exposure to both operational and strategic finance activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and group reporting
- Production of Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reporting
- Budget variance analysis and KPI reporting
- Supporting forecasting and annual budgeting processes
- Providing financial insight to support commercial and operational decision-making
- Preparation and submission of statutory returns, including VAT and other relevant taxes
- Balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany transactions
- Payroll and pension administration through outsourced providers
- P11D and P60 reporting
- Supporting process improvements and strengthening financial controls
- Assisting with wider finance projects and business initiatives as required
About You
We're looking for a finance professional who combines strong technical accounting skills with a proactive and hands‑on approach.
You will ideally have
- ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualification
- Previous experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Finance position
- Strong management reporting and financial analysis skills
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities
- A flexible, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindset
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Manufacturing sector experience
- Multi-currency accounting experience
- Experience using Epicor and/or Microsoft Dynamics
- Experience supporting businesses through change or transformation
