Salary: Up to £26,000

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected regional law firm that is known for its excellent client service, supportive culture and commitment to employee development. This is an excellent opportunity for a Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant to join a busy and friendly team, providing support to Partners and Fee Earners within a specialist team.

The Role

  • Drafting correspondence and legal documents
  • Audio typing and dictation
  • Diary management and scheduling appointments
  • Managing client files, including opening, closing and archiving
  • Handling client enquiries and incoming telephone calls
  • Supporting Land Registry applications and SDLT submissions
  • Providing administrative support to Fee Earners and Partners
  • Maintaining high levels of client care throughout the legal process
  • General office administration and document management

About You

  • Previous experience in a legal support or professional services environment
  • Strong communication skills and a professional manner
  • Audio typing and dictation experience
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • The ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively

Desirable experience includes:

  • Property or conveyancing experience
  • Knowledge of SDLT submissions
  • Experience using Land Registry portals
  • Experience supporting Partners or senior stakeholders
