Our client are the UK's Premier online Retailer of precious metals, and have an exciting opportunity to join their team as a HR Advisor. This is a standalone HR Advisor role, responsible for delivering a comprehensive, pragmatic HR service across the organisation. The role will support managers on all people-related matters, ensuring compliance with employment law while aligning HR practices with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for all HR matters across the business
- Provide expert advice to managers on employee relations issues, including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, and absence
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from role scoping to onboarding
- Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with current employment legislation and best practice
- Support and coach managers to build confidence in people management
- Oversee payroll inputs, benefits administration, and HR records
- Monitor HR metrics and identify trends to support business decisions
- Lead on employee engagement initiatives and culture development including employee wellbeing
- Manage any HR projects and support organisational change as required
Skills & Experience Required
- CIPD Level 5 qualified or actively studying
- At least three years in a previous HR role
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
Benefits
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing by 1 day per year of service to a maximum of 25 days plus bank holidays
- Company pension 3% employer contribution, after initial probation period
