Assistant Management Accountant Cheltenham Competitive Salary – Full-Time About the Role   We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join our client, a professional services firm in Cheltenham.   In this role, you will be responsible for supporting international clients with essential financial functions, including management accounts, payroll processing, VAT compliance, and accounts payable/receivable.   If you have a strong eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and experience in finance or accounting, we’d love to hear from you!   Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing management accounts for a variety of different clients. Payroll Processing: Support payroll transactions, ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Accounts Payable & Receivable: Maintain accurate records and ensure timely payments. Reconciliations: Perform bank reconciliations and maintain up-to-date financial records. VAT Compliance: Support VAT reporting, ensuring accuracy in submissions. Client Communication: Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations. Candidate Profile Experience: Previous experience in finance, accounting, or a similar role is preferred. Qualifications: Studying towards or interested in ACA, ACCA, or AAT. Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and organizational abilities. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in managing financial records. Systems Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software (e.g., Xero).
