About the Role

We are looking for a creative, proactive, and tech-savvy Marketing Executive to join our growing recruitment business. This is a varied and hands-on role where you will play a key part in promoting our brand, supporting business development, and ensuring our vacancies reach the right audiences. Working closely with the recruitment team, you will take ownership of marketing campaigns, content creation, and events, helping to position the business as a trusted partner within our specialist markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Job Advertising & Content Creation
    • Write engaging and compelling job adverts tailored to attract high-quality candidates
    • Ensure consistent tone, messaging, and brand alignment across all job postings
    • Regularly update and refresh adverts to maximise visibility and response rates
  • Digital Marketing & Social Media
    • Manage and grow the company's presence across platforms such as LinkedIn and Instagram
    • Create and schedule engaging content including market insights, job highlights, and company updates
    • Monitor engagement and performance, making recommendations for improvement
  • Email Marketing
    • Plan and execute targeted mass mailing campaigns to clients and candidates
    • Design and distribute newsletters, job alerts, and marketing communications
    • Maintain and segment mailing lists to ensure effective targeting and compliance
  • Events, Networking & Brand Presence
    • Coordinate and support the delivery of events such as networking evenings, client events, and industry seminars
    • Take ownership of the company's networking calendar, ensuring strong representation at key events across the Three Counties and Birmingham
    • Identify and recommend opportunities to raise brand visibility through events and partnerships
  • Group Collaboration & Brand Voice
    • Work closely with colleagues across the wider group to ensure a consistent and aligned marketing approach
    • Actively contribute to group initiatives, ensuring the business has a clear and engaging voice across all shared platforms and campaigns
    • Share ideas and best practice to strengthen overall brand presence and collaboration
  • Systems & Marketing Technology
    • Confidently use CRM systems, job board platforms, and marketing tools to manage campaigns and track performance
    • Utilise email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp) and scheduling tools efficiently
    • Analyse campaign data and metrics to optimise marketing activity
    • Support the adoption and improvement of marketing systems and processes across the business
  • General Marketing Support
    • Assist in developing marketing campaigns to support business growth
    • Track and report on campaign performance and ROI
    • Support the wider team with marketing materials, templates, and branding

About You

  • Previous experience in a marketing role (ideally within recruitment or a fast-paced B2B environment)
  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to produce engaging content
  • Highly systems-focused and tech-savvy, with confidence using CRMs, marketing platforms, and digital tools
  • Comfortable managing multiple platforms and quickly picking up new systems
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Creative mindset with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to brand consistency
