We're looking for a proactive, enthusiastic and adaptable Business Support Associate to join our client's small but dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a hands-on environment and is keen to develop their skills across multiple areas of a business.
Working closely with the General Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the attraction while supporting its ongoing growth and success. You’ll have ownership of several important areas of the business and, over time, will have the opportunity to broaden your experience and develop expertise across operations, events, finance, visitor services and people management.

- Visitor Experience & Operations
- Ensuring visitor services run smoothly across the site
- Supporting visitor information, health & safety and maintenance activities
- Managing consumables and operational supplies
- Helping to deliver an excellent experience for all visitors
- Retail & Commercial Activities
- Managing the retail operation and stock control
- Supporting business development activities and promotional initiatives
- Coordinating group bookings and sales opportunities
- Finance & Administration
- Supporting commercial and finance related activities
- Maintaining accurate records and administrative processes
- Events
- Assisting with the planning, coordination and delivery of events
- Providing support for occasional events outside normal working hours
- People & Volunteer Support
- Supporting the recruitment, training and scheduling of front-of-house staff, schoolmasters and volunteer guides
- Building strong relationships with volunteers and helping them feel valued and supported
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and external stakeholders
Skills & Experience
- Essential Experience in a customer facing or operational role
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Confident IT user with the ability to learn new systems and processes
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Flexible, adaptable and willing to learn
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Desirable
- Experience within the heritage, cultural, tourism or arts sector
- Experience of working with or supporting volunteers
