We are hiring a manager to lead Edinburgh Furniture Initiative. EFI is an Edinburgh institution. People all over the city have stories to tell about donating furniture or buying furniture from us. Over the years we have grown into a £1.5m business, generating income to support people who are homeless in Edinburgh.
We are looking for someone with a passion for home furnishings who aligns with our values and our wider purpose of supporting people out of homelessness.
The role: The EFI Manager is at the heart of the business and plays a key role in Four Square. With a focus on the Edinburgh Furniture Initiative delivering results, leading our retail shop and warehouse teams, delivering excellent customer service and efficient logistics planning, you will lead the day-to-day planning and execution of all the EFI tasks, ensuring effective use of resources.
You will lead and develop a team of three Supervisors:
- Warehouse Supervisor
The role is about providing a consistent service to the community of people who have always used the EFI and looking for new opportunities to grow and develop our business and team. You will report to our Director for Social Enterprise who will coach and support you to succeed in the role.
