This is an exciting opportunity for a logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment and is passionate about driving operational efficiency, managing teams, and maintaining high service standards.

The Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing logistics operations, coordinating transportation and third-party logistics providers, and ensuring the smooth movement, storage, and distribution of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage transportation systems and coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to optimise collection and delivery schedules.
  • Oversee company vehicles and manage drivers in line with company transport policies.
  • Ensure all vehicles meet industry standards and comply with relevant haulage and transport regulations.
  • Maintain full compliance with health and safety regulations across all warehouse activities.
  • Manage and maintain health and safety audits, training programmes, signage, and documentation.
  • Monitor and replenish warehouse consumables within agreed budgets.
  • Utilise Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms to track stock levels, process orders, and generate operational reports.
  • Manage the order book and ensure ageing orders are identified and actioned promptly.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
  • Work closely with supply chain and warehouse teams to streamline processes and improve workflow.
  • Coordinate with shipping and receiving teams to ensure the timely dispatch and receipt of goods.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years’ management experience within a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Proven experience managing and tracking third-party logistics (3PL) collections and deliveries.
  • Experience handling large, heavy, high-value, or luxury goods within a warehouse environment.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, logistics management, and transportation systems.
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP platforms, and Microsoft Outlook/Excel.
  • Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures and working with 3PL providers.
  • Forklift licence or operational experience preferred.
  • Excellent organisational and people management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational or profit and loss data to support decision-making.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse operations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
