An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Stock Controller to join the boutique team of a prestigious women's ready-to-wear brand based within a luxury department store in London. The Stock Controller will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of the boutique by overseeing all stock movements and maintaining the highest standards of inventory accuracy. Responsibilities

  • Stock Management & Inventory Control
    • Receive, process, and organise all deliveries in accordance with company procedures.
    • Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and stock takes.
    • Monitor stock movements, ensuring all deliveries, transfers, returns, and adjustments are processed accurately and efficiently.
    • Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, escalating any issues where appropriate.
    • Ensure the stockroom is maintained to the highest standards, remaining organised, secure, and presentation-ready at all times.
  • Product Handling
    • Handle all merchandise with exceptional care, ensuring products are stored, prepared, and maintained in pristine condition.
    • Prepare products for the shop floor, including quality control, tagging, and packaging.
    • Support the retail team with timely replenishment to maximise product availability and maintain boutique standards.
    • Assist with client orders, product reservations, repairs, and special requests where required.
  • Boutique Operations
    • Work collaboratively with the Client Advisor team to ensure efficient stock flow and seamless day-to-day operations.
    • Support the boutique during deliveries, peak trading periods, and key business initiatives.
    • Coordinate stock transfers between boutiques and distribution centres.
    • Assist with annual stock takes and inventory audits, ensuring the highest levels of accuracy and compliance.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Build strong relationships with colleagues to promote an efficient and collaborative working environment.
    • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to maintain knowledge of collections, operational procedures, and business priorities.
    • Support the wider boutique team whenever required, demonstrating flexibility and a positive approach.
  • Brand Ambassador
